Your safety is our number one concern at Payson Adventures. All our drivers and trail leaders are trained by the Red Cross in CPR and first aid. Each of our clean, well maintained vehicles have a CB short wave radio to call for prompt assistance in the case of an emergency. We are the only tour business licensed by the National Forest and approved by the rangers.

The weather in the mountains can change very rapidly. It can be blistering hot one minute, cold and raining the next. We watch the weather carefully, and will not take a trip someplace if we think there may be a weather related problem. Your safety is our prime concern... we do not want your sightseeing trip to turn into a survival exercise.

Our trucks carry canvas tops and clear side curtains. And while the view is always best with the top and sides removed, we can always put the top on for the shade and the sides up if it gets too cold or wet.

Don't forget a hat, dark glasses and sunscreen... the summer sun can be intense at our higher elevations. In addition, it is a good idea to wear good walking shoes, a jacket, and bring long pants with you. We might just stop to walk along a crystal clear stream or hike through a high desert meadow!
